JBT will presenting its biggest-ever portfolio ever for the two biggest markets in Middle East – poultry processing and frozen fruits & vegetables – at the forthcoming Gulfood Manufacturing 2024, which takes place in Dubai’s World Trade Centre from November 5-7.
From inspection, cutting, marination and coating through to frying, cooking, freezing and packaging in trays, JBT has been at the forefront of poultry processing for decades.
Starting with inspection, JBT Innospexion x-ray systems offer an unprecedented level of accuracy in poultry bone detection that deliver significantly higher yields and less waste. By accurately detecting where bones are located, Innospexion drastically improves the rework process, leading to an overall increase in yields.
Meanwhile, DSI Waterjet Portioners – as exemplified by the recently-introduced DSI 812 – ensures automated, uniform shapes time and time again, which can increase yield by up to 25% yield.
These are just two of the complete range of innovative solutions that JBT offers for poultry processors.
In frozen fruits and vegetables, JBT supplies a full processing line from reception to packaging in bulk. The complete line brings together a range of innovations including the JBT Urtasun Integral Blancher, which serves to both soften vegetables for packing and deactivate enzymes that can harm flavor, color and texture.
The next stage of the line comprises the Urtasun Vibratory Belt to separate the products, before they move on to the final stage – the JBT Frigoscandia FLoFREEZE IQF Freezer, which further separates and individually quick freezes vegetables, berries and other fruits to help retain their quality, integrity and form.
